This short film was inspired by the August Burns Red metal version of “Joy to the World.”  This was shot all within five hours at Christmas Village on 25th Street on a Monday night.  It was freezing out there!  We wondered how people were out there for leisure looking at the Christmas lights, while we continuously commented on not being able to feel our toes, or struggling to adjust the tripod or turn the pages of the storyboard with our numb fingers.  Perhaps we should have dressed a little better!

We shot with a Canon 70d and used two LED lights to help with the lighting in a night shots.  Those really came in handy.  We also drank hot chocolate while waiting for the camera battery to charge so we could finish shooting the indoor scenes.
