This time on Beyond Monopoly, we play Mysterium; a game of ghosts, dreams, and murder. Mysterium is recommended for ages 10+, plays with up to 7 people, and takes about 45 minutes to play.
I had a lot of fun making this one. I’m trying to be more relaxed on camera so that my videos don’t sound so scripted. My intention was to put this out on Halloween, but life got in the way. However, this missed opportunity led to the dog bit at the beginning. Ever since I got my dog, I’ve spoken on his behalf in that stupid voice and it felt good to finally put that in a video. If the feedback on his presence is good, perhaps I’ll include him more often. I tried a stylized color palette with the game footage to represent a horror theme. I brought my color temperature down quite a bit and added a green tint.
My main problems I ran into while creating this video were time issues. In the time I had to make the video, I had another video to do as well as three exams in my other classes. This led to the video not only being late for Halloween, but a few hours late for my assigned deadline.
