Matthew Havertz, a an undergraduate student at Weber State University, finished an independent research project. This is one of many research projects that are currently being submitted into Weber’s undergraduate research journal, Ergo. Havertz’s research specifically focussed on what gets people to subscribe to YouTube channels. “I wanted to test what kind of call-to-action techniques would actually get people to subscribe,” he explained. Havertz is in the Communication department and is graduating next Spring with an emphasis is Digital Media. He has focused specifically on video production. Naturally, he wanted to make a video that explained the research he did. You can watch the video below.
